Live insight into every vehicle: hardware, app and dashboard
For Voltron we built telemetry for electric vehicles: from the circuit board in the vehicle to the app for drivers and the workshop.
The challenge
With electric vehicles you often only notice a problem when the vehicle stops. Battery status, fault codes and usage are hidden in the controller and the BMS, out of reach for owner and workshop.
What we built
- Telemetry hardware that reads the BMS and motor controller over CAN and Bluetooth
- An app for drivers and the workshop: live battery status, fault codes and trip data
- A live tracker showing vehicle location and status on a map
- Workshop diagnostic tools, such as a CAN bus debugger and BMS readout
