For our sister company Voltron, an EV workshop with a webshop, we built agents that work every day in customer contact and admin.
The challenge
Customers keep asking the same questions on the site and WhatsApp about parts, prices, appointments and repair status. The answers live in the webshop, the calendar and the admin system, but someone has to look them up every time.
What we built
- A chat agent on the website that answers questions from webshop and site data
- A WhatsApp agent that reads messages and drafts a reply; it is only sent after a staff member approves it
- An MCP gateway that connects the AI model safely to the business systems, with permissions per function
- Logging of what the agent looks up and proposes, so everything stays auditable

- Agents run in production every day
- Every outgoing message approved by a human
